User Agreement

1. Who may use Dochi AI

• You must be at least 13 years old. The age confirmation you give at first launch is a binding statement; providing a false age is a violation of this Agreement.
• If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
• Accounts suspended or banned for violations may not be re-created under a different identity.

2. Your account & username

• You are responsible for everything that happens through your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
• Every account claims a username (display name). Usernames may be changed at most once every 7 days.
• Usernames and avatars must not impersonate other people, brands, or Dochi AI staff, and must not contain sexual, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content. We may reset offending usernames or avatars without notice.
• Avatars and cover images are screened by automated AI moderation before upload — see Section 5.

3. AI companions & generated content

• Dochi AI lets you create and chat with fictional AI characters ("companions"). Everything a companion says is AI-generated fiction: it is not a real person, does not state facts, and must never be relied on for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
• Companions are not a substitute for professional help. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
• We may show, rank, and recommend published characters to other users as part of the Service.

4. Content rules (strictly enforced)

These rules apply to EVERYTHING you submit: characters (names, titles, personalities, appearance, likes/dislikes, scenarios, greetings, example dialogue, tags), personas, chat messages, community posts, comments, usernames, and every image you upload.

• Safe-for-work only: no sexual, erotic, or sexually suggestive content of any kind — in text or images. This includes fetish content and "suggestive framing" of otherwise normal images.
• Adults only in fiction: every character must have a stated age of 18 or older. Any sexual framing of minors — real, fictional, drawn, or implied — results in an immediate permanent ban and, where required, a report to authorities.
• No graphic violence: no gore, torture, glorified killing, or imagery of realistic weapons in use.
• No hate or harassment: no slurs, hate speech, extremist symbols, bullying, or targeted harassment of any person or group.
• Nothing illegal: no promotion of illegal drugs, real-world violence, self-harm, or criminal activity.
• No bypass attempts: trying to trick, jailbreak, or evade the safety filters is itself a violation, whether or not the attempt succeeds.

5. Automated moderation

• Every image upload and character/persona text is screened by AI moderation before it is accepted. Content the screener rejects cannot be uploaded or published.
• Moderation is fail-closed: if the screening system is unavailable, uploads are paused rather than allowed through unscreened. This is intentional.
• Chat output is additionally filtered in real time; conversations that head into prohibited territory are refused mid-reply.
• Automated decisions may occasionally be wrong. If something harmless was rejected, adjust it and try again, or contact us (Section 12).

6. Personas

• Personas describe you to your companions (name, gender, age, description, appearance, likes/dislikes). Persona ages must be truthful; persona content follows the same content rules and the same AI screening as characters.
• Persona details are injected into your own chats only — they are never shown to other users.

7. Ownership & licence

• You keep ownership of the original content you create (character descriptions, images you have rights to, posts). You must own or have rights to anything you upload.
• By publishing content on Dochi AI you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it within the Service (e.g. showing your published character to other users).
• Deleting content or your account ends this licence except for copies required for legal compliance, backups, or moderation records.
• The Dochi AI name, logo, apps, and site are our property; you may not copy or reuse them.

8. Plans, credits & purchases

• Free accounts have daily limits. Paid plans (Plus / Pro) and credit packs are billed via Google Play (in the app) or FastSpring (on the web).
• Credits are a virtual, non-transferable licence to use premium features — they are not money, hold no cash value, and are not refundable once consumed. Monthly plan credits reset each cycle and do not roll over.
• Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the store's own rules (Google Play purchases are also governed by Google's refund policies).
• Banned accounts forfeit remaining credits when the ban results from a violation of Section 4.

9. Enforcement & termination

• We may remove content, reset usernames/avatars, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate this Agreement — with or without prior warning, at our sole discretion.
• Severe violations (minors, illegal content, repeated bypass attempts) result in immediate permanent bans.
• You may stop using the Service at any time and can delete your account (and its data) from Settings.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. AI output may be inaccurate, inappropriate despite filtering, or unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DochiAI and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

11. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement as the Service evolves (for example when new features like personas or moderation systems launch). The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and continued use after an update is acceptance of it. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the site.
