Why was my character or image rejected?

Two checks run before anything is published. Words that are not allowed are found first — they are highlighted in red as you type, and publishing is refused while any are left. After that an automatic content check reads the whole companion. Either way you get a results page showing every part that needs changing, with the exact phrase quoted and Edit this part to jump straight to it. If the check refuses the profile but cannot mark the exact words, the first card asks you to check your whole profile. When an AI character for adults is saved, its pictures are checked again against the 18+ rules. If a check cannot finish, nothing is published and your text is left exactly as you wrote it.
